TEACHING THE INTERNATIONAL CLASS IN HANNOVER
This summer semester I am doing a teaching assignment for the international photo class at Hannover University of Applied Science. The course is called «The Narrative Portrait». Here is an interview with me about teaching photography.
I was invited to give a TEDx Talk at WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management on the topic “Perspectives Shape Perceptions”. My TEDx talk will be online in a few weeks.

LECTURE AT DANISH JOURNALISM CONFERENCE
I was invited to Odense in Denmark to talk about my work at the biannual conference for Danish journalists. I was also happy to introduce, and to be introduced by colleague photographer Lærke Posselt, and to do a Q&A with her after the presentation.
VG Helg magazine dedicated the whole issue to photo stories from Norway. I made a little portrait series called “Province Princess”. You can see the online version of the special photo issue here.
EXHIBITION AT SØRLANDETS KUNSTMUSEUM
I am happy to exhibit «RETURN» in the group show «UNDERWAY» at Sørlandets Kunstmuseum in Kristiansand, Norway. The exhibition is open from October 8th – March 5th 2017.

PROJECT IN THE FAROE ISLANDS
The month of July I will spend on the Faroe Islands to work on my project about demographic changes when women are leaving their communities in the small island nation in the North Atlantic. The work is supported by a grant from the German VG Bild-Kunst.
